Senior Test Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Test Engineer and lead testing activities in software development projects. You will leverage your expertise in testing methodologies and tools to ensure high-quality software applications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective testing strategies. Develop standards and procedures for product quality and release readiness. Perform various testing types, including regression, integration, performance, and load testing. Contribute to building tools to accelerate software delivery and identify and track defects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Test Engineer
• Programming or scripting languages expertise (Java, JavaScript, C# or Python)
• Experience with software QA and testing methodologies, test management tools and processes
• Familiarity with performance testing and version control systems
• Familiarity with RDBMS – PostgreSQL, MySQL etc
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Written and verbal Communication in English (C1 level)
• Organized, good time management skills, attention to detail, and team player

Responsibilities

• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans based on acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases
• Perform regression, integration, performance, and load testing to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security
• Build tools to accelerate and ease software delivery
• Identify, isolate, and track defects and issues throughout testing
• Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with containerization, microservices, and serverless architecture
• U.S. B1/B2 visa
• Experience with Golang and with CI/CD (Jenkins preferred)

$900,000 - $1,100,000 a year fix salary + 10% annual bonus
