Senior Test Engineer

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in writing test scripts and working within existing test frameworks (Python)
• Experience with Pytest
• Hands-on experience writing test scripts for various types of testing
• Experience working with cross-functional teams developing tests with a focus on delivering quality agile products
• Experience with working with highly scalable, maintainable code
• Experience of Agile working environments and working within a collaborative team
• Solid understanding of how to translate product requirements into testable technical solutions
• Experience in building and improving automated test frameworks
• Experience in integrating automated tests/test process into CI pipelines
• Experience in influencing change in the test process within an agile team
• Located in Italy
• Occasional ability to be flexible with working hours when required
• Fluent English & superb communication skills (written and oral)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test suites
• Conduct manual testing when required
• Work within Development Teams to ensure testing is considered at all levels of development
• Be brought into conversations early, at a backlog refinement level, to ensure a clear understanding of testing throughout the development process
• Translate product requirements into testable technical solutions
• Build and improve automated test frameworks
• Integrate automated tests/test process into CI pipelines
• Influence change in the test process within an agile team

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with containerized environments (Kubernetes)
• Exposure to ML models, data pipelines, or AI-driven applications (Machine Learning / Data Science)
