Senior T-SQL Developer

Summary

Join ProArch's dynamic team as a Sr. T-SQL Developer. Design, develop, and maintain advanced T-SQL queries and database solutions. Collaborate with various teams to optimize data handling and ensure high performance and scalability. Responsibilities include designing complex T-SQL queries, collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing and improving database performance, and troubleshooting SQL-related issues. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 6+ years of T-SQL development experience, proficiency in writing complex T-SQL queries, and strong SQL Server performance tuning skills. Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes is needed. Remote contract position.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in T-SQL development and SQL Server management
• Proficient in writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Strong experience with SQL Server performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support business logic
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications
• Analyze and improve database performance by tuning existing queries and database structures
• Participate in database design and data modeling efforts
• Troubleshoot and resolve SQL-related performance issues and errors
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain quality standards
• Document database designs, changes, and procedures clearly for future reference
• Stay updated on the latest T-SQL and SQL Server features, ensuring our solutions leverage current capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL Server integration services (SSIS)
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
