Senior Tutor

Join the Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring as a remote SAT or ACT tutor! Requirements

• Strong past test scores
• Demonstrable experience tutoring or teaching all sections of either the SAT or the ACT
• 4-12 hours per week of availability
• Earned Bachelor's Degree from a Top US College or University
• Exceptional communication skills
• A passion for helping others learn
• Exceptionally knowledgeable in your subject area(s)
• Reliable, professional, and passionate about education

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one academic support for High School and college students in subjects of your expertise
• Tailor teaching approaches to each student’s learning style and personality
• Build confidence and inspire intellectual curiosity in students
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with high-profile clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Multilingual capabilities
• Background in working with neurodiverse learners
• Ability to be “on call” for students (additional pay included) between sessions
• Experience with test prep (SAT, ACT, AP, or similar)
• Experience in tutoring or teaching (3+ years preferred)
