Summary

Join NewRocket, a global ServiceNow partner, as a Senior UI/UX Designer. You will execute UX strategies based on requirements and business objectives, delivering innovative solutions for complex projects. Responsibilities include facilitating meetings, managing projects, conducting peer reviews, mentoring team members, and leading workshops with clients. You will develop journey maps, user flows, and presentations, while managing the Figma design system. Success requires strong design principles knowledge for cloud-based platforms, particularly within the ServiceNow domain. Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in Design
  • An inspiring portfolio showing us how you have researched, defined, and crafted great experiences, seeing them through to released products
  • Proven design experience for enterprise platforms
  • Excellent knowledge of design principles for cloud-based platforms
  • Strong interpersonal, organization, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Broad understanding of the ServiceNow domain areas
  • Ability to assess and mitigate risk
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with ability to motivate a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to simplify complex situations
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and associates at all levels of the organization to meet companies' objectives
  • Ability to lead a group of teams located across multiple regional time zones
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and change
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization
  • Expert knowledge of wireframes and high-fidelity prototype creation using Figma
  • Experience conducting design QA
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or related field or demonstrated work experience
  • Should be flexible to work US pacific time zone

Responsibilities

  • Establish UX strategy based on requirements and business objectives
  • Facilitate both internal and external meetings, brainstorm sessions, and design reviews
  • Manage project to completion for all design activities and deliverables
  • Conduct peer reviews to ensure leading practices and quality
  • Ability to roadmap design activities, define the workshops necessary to execute the roadmap, and allocate the billable hours for each design activity/artifact
  • Mentor and coach the team to ensure continual skill and professional development growth
  • Ability to manage design team capacity and resource assignment ad hoc
  • Deliver measurable, positive results within the client and team’s timeline, budget, and scope
  • Facilitate and conduct peer reviews to ensure leading practices and quality
  • Lead workshops with clients, end users, and project teams to define system requirements, problems, and goals
  • Effectively communicate with key stakeholders when either scope or timeline of projects require modification
  • Develop journey maps and user flows to visualize use cases
  • Present design artifacts and rationale
  • Manage and maintain the Figma design system
