Senior Unreal Engine Generalist

Summary

Join Seedify MetaStudios as a Generalist Game Engineer to work on the unique UGC platform Seedworld. Collaborate closely with art, design, and development teams, implement diverse game systems, optimize and improve existing ones, write clean code, participate in code reviews, create and maintain technical documentation, and keep up-to-date knowledge of Unreal Engine.

Requirements

• Experienced using Unreal Engine 5
• Experience in delivering timely prototype
• Experience working in cross-discipline teams
• Experience implementing scalable solutions

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with art, design and development teams ensuring both visual and functional requirements are met
• Implement diverse game systems for prototyping and beyond
• Optimise and improve existing systems (including but not limited to gameplay, AI, data management etc)
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Working Knowledge of C++
• Experience participating in building an MMO, Metaverse or a AAA project in Unreal Engine 5
• Experience with blockchain project
• Experience in optimising, profiling and debugging in Unreal Engine 5
• Experience in developing engine editor tools
