Senior UX/UI Designer

Summary

The job is for a Senior UX/UI Designer at Minoan, a fast-growing startup in the Native Retail sector. The role involves designing user experiences for their B2B retail platform and internal systems. The position is remote but preferred in NYC Metro area.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 5+ years of experience designing best-in-class digital interfaces

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Head of UX, the product team, and cross-functional business stakeholders to develop beautiful and functional design solutions and improve the overall user experience and engagement across Minoan’s full suite of products
• Develop a deep understanding of customer and internal stakeholder goals, use cases, and pain points and use that knowledge to effectively design innovative solutions that exceed the needs of all users
• Drive the end-to-end product design process: conducting user research, building wireframes, designing high-fidelity prototypes, and creating pixel-perfect design specs, ready for hand-off to engineering
• Build, refine, and manage Minoan’s design system, ensuring all user touchpoints are cohesive and uphold Minoan’s brand standards
• Contribute to fostering a culture of design and user-centricity within the company, staying up-to-date with the latest design and industry trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing products in retail, hospitality, advertising, or B2B SaaS
• Experience owning or operating a short-term rental
