Join TechnologyAdvice as a Senior UI/UX Designer and contribute to the growth of our 30+ websites and proprietary platforms. As a member of the Product Team, you will conduct user research, create prototypes, and iterate on designs based on customer feedback and business needs. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, mentor junior designers, and support new product initiatives. This remote-first position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, 4+ years of UX experience, and proficiency in design software. Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
- 4+ years of professional UX experience with a strong portfolio of user-centered projects
- Extensive knowledge of user research methods, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex design ideas clearly and persuasively
- Experience with prototyping and design software such as Figma or equivalent
- Experience in balancing user experience with business needs and technical feasibility
- A curious, flexible, can-do attitude and empathetic mindset
- Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
Responsibilities
- Define and conduct customer and user research and testing
- Establish feedback loops with stakeholders and customers
- Incorporate customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into all work
- Determine the user architecture of digital products to quickly design and create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to test on real users
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings
- Overseeing all deliverables produced by the UX team, ensuring quality and consistency
- Providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring for other members of the UX team to support their continued development and growth
- Communicate with product and engineering teams during the implementation process to create products that wow our end users
- Ideating, conceptualizing, and creating wireframes, designs, and other user experience artifacts for all new product and data initiatives
- Creating assets for product marketing, including customer-facing collateral and website designs and components to promote our products and services
- Define standards and maintain overall design system documentation for the TechnologyAdvice platform
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the publishing industry, Content Management Systems (CMS), cross-device and responsive design best practices, web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices
- Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) techniques and knowledge of branding, color theory, and typography
