Summary
Join Colibri's analytics team as a Senior Web Analyst and leverage your advanced analytical skills to drive strategic decisions. You will manage data collection, conduct statistical analysis, and develop actionable reports. This role requires expertise in web analytics tools like Google Analytics 4 and Matomo, as well as experience with Power BI and data integration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot data issues, and communicate complex technical concepts effectively. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, experience with digital marketing ecosystems, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience working with advanced web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Matomo, Adobe Analytics, or similar, with a proven track record of leveraging custom dimensions, segments, and Enhanced eCommerce features
- 2-3 years of experience working with Power BI to collect, clean, and publish reports, dashboards, and semantic models
- Experience in mixed media modeling to integrate online and offline data sources for comprehensive marketing analysis
- Familiarity with CDPs and CRMs to help understand how marketing analytics can support these spaces. This includes using data-driven insights to optimize customer journeys, personalize marketing efforts, and improve customer retention. Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems enables the analyst to integrate various data sources, providing a holistic view of customer interactions and behaviors
- Strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, including SEO, SEM, email, and programmatic advertising, and their respective tracking methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data collection and integration issues related to unfamiliar technologies
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively
Responsibilities
- Leverage advanced analytical techniques and tools, such as SQL, Python, or R, to process and analyze large datasets for high-impact business insights
- Conduct statistical analysis to understand the significance and relevance of results, including methods such as the two-proportion z-test
- Conduct comprehensive digital funnel analyses, including multi-touch attribution modeling and advanced segmentation strategies, to uncover conversion barriers
- Serve as a technical expert on Matomo and Google Analytics 4 (GA4), with hands-on experience in setting up and customizing Enhanced eCommerce tracking, advanced filters, and data layers
- Support complex debugging and troubleshooting for data inconsistencies across platforms, utilizing browser developer tools, network tab analysis, and third-party integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are upheld
