Senior Web Developer

Summary

Join HubSpot's Digital Experience Team as a senior-level developer to contribute to core website optimization initiatives driving business growth. You will partner with the Conversational Marketing team, developing and integrating chatflows across web experiences. This role involves developing full-stack web solutions, designing infrastructure components for chat flow integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working with localization partners. You will also collaborate with product engineers, explore new technologies, lead projects, and foster a collaborative culture. The ideal candidate possesses extensive web development experience, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of relevant technologies.

Requirements

• Have 4+ years of web development experience
• Effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of RESTful services & API development
• Knowledgeable in server-side development utilizing Node.js
• Knowledge of modern Javascript, such as ES6+
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, Angular) and templating systems (EJS)
• Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and cross-browser and device compatibility
• Experience with testing automation tools, such as Jest & Cypress
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Passionate about performance, reusability, security, and coding best practices
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Develop websites and full-stack web solutions that contribute positively to core business goals and HubSpot’s web experiences
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain key infrastructure components related to chat flow integrations for our internal partners
• Work in a cross-functional team of Creatives (Dev, UX Design, PM) and Business Partners across the Marketing team to drive value and solve business challenges
• Work with localization partners to scale solutions to international markets
• Collaborate with Product engineers and share feedback on internal tools to improve the efficacy and reach of our projects and solutions
• Explore new technologies and how to implement them within team projects
• Come up with creative ideas and collaborate with peers to bring them to life

• Lead multiple projects with many moving parts
