Summary

Join komoot's 100% remote team as an ambitious web developer and contribute to the development of their popular outdoor adventure planning app. You will work in a small, cross-functional team, collaborating with other developers, designers, and product experts. This role involves developing end-to-end solutions, creating web features, and working with various technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js. Requirements

  • Have 4+ years of professional experience with TypeScript
  • Have 2+ years of professional experience in developing high-quality production React
  • Have 2+ years of professional experience in Node.js
  • Know how to build scalable web apps and how to run them on cloud computing platforms like AWS and monitor them with a solution like Datadog
  • Bring experience working with components, pattern libraries, and CSS
  • Love to develop remarkable products with a focus on a great user experience
  • Are happy working on web application features while staying conscious of the quality
  • Have experience with continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring

Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end solutions, including concept, roadmap planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
  • Create web features with one of our cross-functional squads of backend developers, mobile developers, designers, copywriters, QA, data analysts, and product experts
  • Team up with eight other web developers to build a state-of-the-art web app with more than 35 million users
  • Work with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, CSS, Docker, AWS, Terraform, and Datadog
  • Release frequently with continuous builds, testing, and direct team feedback
  • Get dedicated time to improve the quality of our application with a dedicated day per week as well as a week per quarter
