Requirements

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of shipping user-facing web applications
  • Deep expertise in React and TypeScript , including advanced typing strategies and component design patterns
  • Strong understanding of how the browser works—particularly around HTML forms, navigation, accessibility, and performance
  • Experience implementing testing strategies that balance unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage
  • Comfort integrating with REST APIs and working across the full data flow, from API response to rendered UI
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and feature monitoring
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a bias toward clear, intentional engineering

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and deployment of performant, user-facing web applications that help consumers discover and compare credit card offers

  • Work with product and design to implement features that are accessible, responsive, and aligned with business goals
  • Design and enforce boundaries between UI and domain logic—keeping components “dumb” and moving logic to framework-agnostic layers where possible
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test coverage using tools like Playwright or Cypress to enable safe iteration and deployment
  • Instrument and monitor features using DataDog and other telemetry tools to ensure system health and observability in production
  • Participate in design and code reviews with a focus on architectural clarity, long-term maintainability, and developer experience
  • Mentor and support engineers through pair programming, documentation, and thoughtful feedback

  • Experience with DataDog tracing and observability
  • Strong appreciation for functional programming principles , immutability , and code predictability
  • A distaste for side-effect-heavy logic embedded in UI components

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits
  • Wellness perks
  • Paid parental leave
  • Generous Paid Time Off
  • Learning and Development resources
  • Flexible working hours
