Summary

Join MoneyLion, a leading financial technology company, as a Senior Web Engineer on our Control Center and Client Reporting Team. You will be responsible for designing and delivering significant features and architectural projects, enhancing shared codebases and services for predictable and scalable development. Collaborate with team members and product leads to refine requirements and ensure timely code delivery. Contribute to the production and deployment of user-facing web applications, develop comprehensive tests, and mentor junior engineers. This role requires significant experience with React and TypeScript, along with a strong understanding of software engineering principles and testing methodologies. Requirements

  • Ideally 6+ years of software engineering experience
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of strong experience with React and TypeScript
  • Experience with other front-end frameworks such as Angular or Vue
  • Experience with balanced unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Experience with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the production and deployment of user-facing web-based applications
  • Work with product owner and designers to create high-quality applications
  • Develop a balance of unit and end-to-end integration tests to ensure code quality
  • Mentor and train less experienced engineers
  • As the Senior Web Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical design and delivery of significant features and architectural projects
  • Your contributions will enhance shared codebases and services that facilitate predictable, highly available, and scalable development
  • You'll engage in technical design and code reviews to refine our products and processes
  • Collaborating closely with team members and product leads, you will help fine-tune requirements, ensure timely and precise code delivery, and provide ongoing support for deployed features

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS and K8s
  • Playwright, Cypress or other similar end-to-end testing systems
  • 3rd party UI libraries like MUI or similar
  • Performance optimization for core web vitals
  • DataDog application tracing
  • A love for functional programming, immutability
  • A distaste for side-effecting code
