Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Windows equipment and technology
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field (master's degree preferred). Or related experience in lieu of degree
- Deployment and management of virtual server systems within a VMWare environment
- VMWare resource monitoring, alarm and notification troubleshooting
- Management of Microsoft Windows patching with Windows Server Update Services
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain mission critical, high availability network infrastructure, focusing on Windows equipment and technology
- VMWare system migrations, disk configurations, and VSphere administration tasks
- Conduct thorough performance analysis and optimization of the network infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
- Troubleshoot complex network problems, identifying root causes and resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure seamless integration of network services with other systems
- Monitor network performance, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in network engineering, evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure and making recommendations for improvements
