You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, ensuring content meets standards across all client platforms. The role involves leading the evolution of content standards, collaborating with a federal partner, and coaching other copy editors. Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience, plus at least four years of relevant experience
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on digital content
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong understanding of human-centered design strategies, methods, and approaches
- Experience in the Drupal Content Management System (CMS), GitHub, Microsoft Word, and User Interface (UI) mockup tools like UX Pin and Sketch
Responsibilities
- Maintain a focus on the user experience with all work produced
- Manage highly collaborative work in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with federal partner to manage and prioritize the creation of content standards and to continuously evolve and improve the content style guide and content design patterns
- Lead the continuous evolution and improvement of the content community of practice and relevant trainings
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure centralized content
- Copy edit high-priority work to ensure high quality and standards
- Coach other copy editing members of the content team as necessary to maintain a high quality of work
- Develop metric-driven reports on overall content standards work and progress
Preferred Qualifications
- Consulting/agency experience
- Experience working with Agile teams
- Previous work with federal government agencies or initiatives
- Spanish speaking and writing skills at a professional level
