Join Golin's centralized new business and marketing team as a Freelance Senior Writer! Shape Golin's narrative across various channels through compelling, AI-optimized content. Develop award-winning submissions showcasing agency and client work. Collaborate with new business teams to articulate agency capabilities. Mentor account teams to elevate their writing. Develop best practices for AI-assisted content creation. This freelance role requires a commitment of up to 40 hours weekly for approximately 5 months, with a preference for in-person collaboration two to three days a week in Chicago or New York, but remote options are available for qualified candidates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of writing experience, with a proven track record of elevating organizational writing standards
• Demonstrated expertise in using AI tools to accelerate content creation while maintaining quality and voice
• Sharp editing skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve structural and stylistic issues in others' work

Responsibilities

• Shape the Golin story across earned and owned channels through compelling, AI-optimized news releases, blog posts, and web and social content, which demonstrate our impact and expertise
• Push best practices as it relates to multi-media formats, including video (long- and short-form scripting), infographic concepting, and community engagement principles (including Reddit)
• Craft powerful award submissions that showcase our agency and client work to industry recognition programs
• Partner with new business teams to transform how we articulate our agency capabilities, innovations, and products to prospects and clients, developing clear narratives that drive understanding and action
• Collaborate with practice leaders to articulate their expertise distinctively and mentor account teams to elevate their writing while maintaining project momentum
• Develop best practices for AI-assisted content creation and editing

Preferred Qualifications

Journalism background with modern media experience writing for digital/social platforms is preferred
