Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Join Air, a creative ops system company, as a Fullstack Engineer. You will be part of a talented team, working closely with the CTO and senior engineers. This role involves hands-on work with backend, frontend, and desktop codebases, primarily using Typescript, React, Electron, and Node.js. You will build features, review code, write tests, maintain infrastructure, and contribute to long-term architectural vision. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys mentoring junior team members. This is a remote role.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend experience working on large-scale distributed web applications
• Experience collaborating with designers, developers, and product managers
• Experience managing and maintaining production infrastructure
• Capable of working on a stateful and event-driven client-side application
• Familiar with API design and an API-first mindset
• Comfortable with event-driven and service-oriented architectures
• Experience driving complex architectural transformation from start to finish
• Deep understanding of cloud-based services from AWS, GCP, Azure, etc
• Experience leading projects while balancing both business and technical constraints
• Demonstrated ability to influence engineering direction through technical proposals and documentation
