SEO Outreach Specialist

Summary

Join Canva's International SEO team as a SEO Outreach Specialist to contribute to the company's growth in Brazil. This 12-month, full-time contract offers the flexibility of fully remote work. You will be responsible for building high-quality backlinks to improve SEO performance, working closely with the Brazil SEO Country Lead and Global Outreach lead. The role involves identifying target landing pages, selecting appropriate link-building tactics, creating prospect lists, and executing outreach to secure high-quality links. You will adhere to Canva's white-hat link-building approach and contribute to the improvement of the global outreach strategy. The ideal candidate is a fluent Portuguese speaker with business-level English, positive and enthusiastic, and has some marketing-related experience.

Requirements

• You are a fluent Portuguese speaker with business-level English
• You are a positive, enthusiastic 'people person' with good written communication skills
• You have some experience working in a marketing-related field such as sales, PR, media or SEO
• We're a large team that relies on tried-and-tested processes to execute tasks quickly and efficiently. As such, this role will suit someone with high attention to detail and the ability to closely follow detailed written instructions

Responsibilities

• Work with the SEO Country Lead (and Global Outreach lead) to identify landing pages that would benefit from backlinks on our Brazil-focused SEO Pages and agree on targets for each campaign
• For each campaign, you'll identify a list of backlink prospects, following Canva's tried-and-tested outreach playbook
• You'll write and send quality outreach emails, tailored to the specific campaign and the prospect receiving the email
• You'll actively develop and maintain relationships with website owners, building an address book of contacts who can be leveraged for future campaigns
• You will maintain reporting spreadsheets to keep track of progress towards goals, and be responsible for communicating with your SEO Country Lead (and Global Outreach lead) if you are not on track to reach goals
• You will support the continual improvement of the global outreach strategy by sharing learnings and insights with the wider outreach team
• The SEO Outreach Specialist will be responsible for building high-quality backlinks that help to improve the SEO performance of important landing pages
• You will work closely with the Brazil SEO Country Lead (and our Global Outreach) lead to set targets for the number of links needed to achieve top ranking positions, identifying the most appropriate link building tactics, building lists of relevant prospects, and executing the end-to-end outreach process to secure high quality links
