SEO Specialist

Summary

Join Jordan Digital Marketing, a remote-first digital marketing agency, as an SEO Specialist. You will collaborate with account managers to execute SEO strategies, optimize content, perform keyword research, and analyze performance. The role requires 2+ years of SEO experience, a strong understanding of SEO best practices, and proficiency with SEO tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics. • Experience working with SEO tools, including Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Agency experience

Responsibilities

• Support and collaborate with SEO account managers to execute on-page optimizations, technical SEO audits, and changes
• Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
• Performing ongoing keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
• Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success
• Research market and seasonal trends for SEO client industries
• Perform keyword research and competitive analysis
• Implement changes in content management systems (CMS)
• Execute methods to track, report, analyze, and improve SEO and content performance
• Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm changes
• Participate in growing the company’s marketing blog
• Participate in ongoing training to further skill set

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with other SEO tools, including (but not limited to) Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc
• Experience with and/or understanding of code (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript )
• Experience with and/or knowledge of other marketing channels (e.g., PPC )
• Experience working with a variety of CMS’ (e.g., WordPress, Webflow)
• Excellent writing skills
