SEO Specialist, Remote - Philippines

Summary

The job is for an SEO Specialist to collaborate with a creative team in crafting high-value content for clients. The position requires detail-oriented individuals with expertise in SEO, content trends, WordPress, HTML, CSS, JSON, digital tools, and SEO certifications. The role involves editing and optimizing content, publishing new and existing content, creating keyword-targeted copy, utilizing search trends, designing graphics, posting blogs, applying SEO principles, collaborating with team members, maintaining editorial calendars, and ensuring effective implementation of SEO strategies.

Requirements

• Experience working with the technical aspects of SEO campaigns or similar work
• A deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods (particularly in regard to Google’s search engine)
• Expert knowledge of SEO and Analytics
• Expertise in WordPress
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JSON
• Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console
• Proficiency with Copyscape or Surfer SEO
• SEO Certifications (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Gotch Academy)
• Experience using Market Muse, Clearscope, etc., is a plus
• Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above) with an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps
• Available to work in Pacific Standard Time zone (Graveyard shift in the Philippines)

Responsibilities

• Edit and optimize content to enhance client content ranking in search engines
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and possess expert knowledge of SEO and content trends
• Publish new content and enhance existing content
• Create keyword-targeted copy to optimize content for specific key phrases
• Utilize digital tools to identify search trends and key phrases
• Publish and enhance landing pages in WordPress
• Design custom graphics and enhance images for landing pages and blogs
• Post and optimize blogs for targeted phrases
• Apply SEO principles to maximize copy's reach through internal linking and metadata optimization
• Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Project Managers on client campaigns
• Maintain editorial calendars
• Edit content to improve optimization
• Ensure effective implementation of SEO and SMO strategies
