Summary

Join METRO.digital's Cloud Foundation team as a Service Manager and drive the development and adoption of cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate with stakeholders, define product vision and strategy, monitor KPIs, ensure service quality, and manage the solution budget. This role requires proven experience in product or service management within complex IT landscapes, particularly cloud platforms. You will need strong analytical and communication skills, along with experience in Agile and Lean methodologies. Requirements

  • Proven experience in product or service management in complex IT landscapes, particularly in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on service delivery and business value
  • Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management, including Incident, Problem, and Service Level Management
  • Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies, enabling rapid iteration and value delivery
  • Ability to translate business needs into solutions and drive adoption across teams
  • Strong analytical skills to define and interpret business and technical KPIs
  • Basic knowledge of engineering best practices (e.g., CI/CD, microservices, cloud-native architectures)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

  • Have a deep understanding of GCP capabilities, features, and best practices and support their implementation across METRO
  • Gain a strong understanding of METRO’s business needs and ensure cloud solutions bring the expected value
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to align cloud services with business objectives
  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Cloud Foundation, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of METRO’s teams
  • Identify and monitor key KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of cloud services, collaborating with engineering, security, and operations teams
  • Promote a culture of ownership, pragmatism, respect, and passion, aligning with METRO.digital values
  • Manage the solution budget to maximize value and drive cost efficiency
