ServiceNow Platform Lead

Summary

Join LightFeather as a ServiceNow Developer – Platform Engineer to support the Department of State’s Agency Data Division (ADD) program. This fully remote, full-time role, based in the U.S., requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret Clearance or higher. You will develop, optimize, and support scalable ServiceNow solutions across various DOS components, delivering platform-wide customizations, integrations, and governance-aligned solutions. The position involves supporting DOS teams without dedicated ServiceNow instances and providing training and documentation. You will be part of a team dedicated to meaningful impact, working on solutions that address mission-critical needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development with platform engineering experience
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations, scripting, and module implementation
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS
• Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, and related ServiceNow modules
• Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and solutions
• Support DOS teams without dedicated ServiceNow instances
• Implement API integrations and automation workflows
• Align platform development with federal governance requirements
• Provide troubleshooting and performance support
• Deliver training and documentation for end users and admins

Preferred Qualifications

• CSA and CAD certifications
• Federal government contracting experience, especially within DOS
