SharePoint Developer

Summary

Join our team as a SharePoint Developer and lead the migration of our agency's Drupal Intranet site to SharePoint. You will be responsible for migrating existing functionality, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to define requirements, and developing a roadmap for the migration. This role also involves identifying and documenting the new site's architecture, migrating or developing its functionality, and mentoring content owners. Furthermore, you will assist in developing SharePoint governance processes for agency-wide use. This is a remote position located in Henrico, VA, with a duration of 12+ months.

Requirements

• Hands on and recent SharePoint development exp
• 7 Years experience in SharePoint development
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• 7 Years experience in communication

Responsibilities

• Migrate our existing agency Drupal Intranet site over to a SharePoint site
• Migrate existing functionality into a SharePoint site
• Work with agency IT and Business stakeholders to determine existing features/functions which need to be migrated
• Develop a roadmap plan for the migration/development of the new SharePoint site
• Identify and document the architecture of the new site
• Migrate or develop functionality of the new intranet site
• Work with Division content owners and mentor them on how to manage their own content
• Assist the agency in developing and documenting SharePoint governance processes for other SharePoint sites across the agency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Drupal 7
• 1 Year experience with Drupal 7
