SIEM Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

Join Proficio, an award-winning MDR services provider, as a SIEM Infrastructure Engineer. Reporting to the Lead SIEM Infrastructure Engineer, you will implement Elastic SIEM architecture for US and global customers. This customer-facing role requires managing multiple implementations and maintenance concurrently. The position is primarily remote, with occasional customer site visits. You will be a security problem solver, creatively addressing challenges and adapting toolsets while maintaining proficiency in Elastic SIEM. Collaboration with a global team is essential, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills. Requirements

• 2+ years hands-on experience in engineering and supporting a large-scale Elastic Stack environment
• Strong knowledge in Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and Elasticsearch
• Clear understanding of Elastic's data onboarding process and CIM mapping
• Ability to define and clearly express work required to customers

Responsibilities

• Implement the architecture for Elastic SIEM customer instances
• Provide support globally as required
• Organize and drive multiple customer implementations and maintenance scenarios
• Determine customer needs, find solutions, and outline work to be done
• Define work scope and bundle that work scope for team assignment
• Review and revise completed work
• Organize customer interactions and workload to achieve daily progress with all customer accounts
• Share passion for Elastic SIEM with customers
• Ensure customers know exactly what to expect during the onboarding process
• Ensure customers are receiving best-in-class service for their cybersecurity needs
• Ensure security, availability, and confidentiality of all sensitive data collected, processed, or stored by this position

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong event logging solutions for large corporations
• Experience with multiple security platform administration or engineering within large-scale or global enterprises
• Understanding of Network Firewalls, Load-balancers, and complex network designs
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
• Good command on Python, Perl, SQL, Regex and Shell scripting
