Summary
Join AMPECO, a fast-growing company in the e-mobility sector, and contribute to building the platform of choice for large-scale EV charging providers globally. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will monitor service performance, maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs), manage AWS cloud infrastructure, participate in incident management, and manage CI/CD pipelines. You will also identify and remediate workflow inefficiencies. This role requires experience with Linux administration, AWS services, Terraform, Docker, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with linux administration
- 2+ years of experience with AWS: ECS, EC2, RDS (MySQL), CloudWatch, VPC
- Experience with Terraform, Shell scripting
- Experience building and running Docker containers
- Self-motivation and willingness to dig deeper to find out the best solution
- Desire to engage in continuous learning to ensure knowledge of latest DevOps technologies and AWS product updates
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent time management and personal organisation skills
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
Responsibilities
- Monitor service performance, reliability metrics, and infrastructure stability
- Define and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and related alerts
- Design, Configure, deploy, manage and automate AWS cloud infrastructure
- Participate in incident management
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for test, build and release
- Identify roadblocks and inefficiencies in the current workflow, and work with teams to plan and remediate improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python and or Ruby
- Experience with building and administering Nginx, PHP based web servers
- Experience with container orchestrators like Kubernetes, ECS, Docker Swarm
- Network administration (IPv4, IPv6, Dynamic routing, IPSec, etc.)
- Development background with PHP/Laravel/NodeJS/ReactNative
- CI/CD tools like Gitlab and Bitrise
- Knowledge of or keen interest in the e-mobility sector
