Site Reliability Engineer

Summary

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will monitor service performance, maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs), manage AWS cloud infrastructure, participate in incident management, and manage CI/CD pipelines. You will also identify and remediate workflow inefficiencies. This role requires experience with Linux administration, AWS services, Terraform, Docker, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with linux administration
• 2+ years of experience with AWS: ECS, EC2, RDS (MySQL), CloudWatch, VPC
• Experience with Terraform, Shell scripting
• Experience building and running Docker containers
• Self-motivation and willingness to dig deeper to find out the best solution
• Desire to engage in continuous learning to ensure knowledge of latest DevOps technologies and AWS product updates
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent time management and personal organisation skills
• Fluent English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Monitor service performance, reliability metrics, and infrastructure stability
• Define and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and related alerts
• Design, Configure, deploy, manage and automate AWS cloud infrastructure
• Participate in incident management
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for test, build and release
• Identify roadblocks and inefficiencies in the current workflow, and work with teams to plan and remediate improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python and or Ruby
• Experience with building and administering Nginx, PHP based web servers
• Experience with container orchestrators like Kubernetes, ECS, Docker Swarm
• Network administration (IPv4, IPv6, Dynamic routing, IPSec, etc.)
• Development background with PHP/Laravel/NodeJS/ReactNative
• CI/CD tools like Gitlab and Bitrise
• Knowledge of or keen interest in the e-mobility sector
