Summary

Join Brevo's Data team as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and play a critical role in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data infrastructure requirements, automate repetitive tasks, and develop tools for infrastructure as code (IaC). Implement security best practices for data storage and access controls, and create and maintain documentation for data infrastructure and operational procedures. Work closely with the platform team to ensure compliance with conventions and leverage your expertise in containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Requirements

  • At least 2 or 3+ years experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or similar role
  • Ability to pick up new technology concepts on the fly and discuss with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Very good English and strong experience in a multicultural environment

Responsibilities

  • Play a critical role in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure
  • Work closely with the platform team to ensure the data team is following all conventions
  • Be familiar with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Orchestrated a seamless migration from dbt Cloud to Kubernetes, enhancing data infrastructure control and reducing operational costs
  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage
  • Achieved significant cost savings through effective resource management and optimization of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
  • Advanced knowledge in CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge in automation scripting languages like Shell, Python and GoLand
  • Good understanding of containerization, infrastructure orchestration, microservices and information security. Good knowledge with logging and monitoring infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience managing hybrid cloud environments across multiple providers
