Summary

Join RYZ Labs as a Site Reliability Engineer and contribute to the development of data platform capabilities and tools for a client creating self-driving robotic food delivery carriers. You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, maintain development infrastructure, and streamline the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with software engineers, develop documentation and training materials, and influence infrastructure decisions. This remote position, based in South America, offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and contribute to a rapidly growing startup.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a similar position
  • 3+ years of infrastructure development experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Hands-on experience in infrastructure provisioning with Terraform
  • 3+ years of building and managing CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable infrastructure for their data platform, ensuring performance, reliability, and security across all environments
  • Automate deployment and provisioning using CI/CD pipelines, ensuring streamlined workflows from development to production
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime across our services
  • Work with other teams to continuously improve and automate processes to minimize toil in deploying and maintaining cloud services
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for our critical infrastructure pieces

Preferred Qualifications

  • Linux systems administration and shell scripting
  • Proficient in Python
