Summary

Join Sezzle's growing team as a Site Reliability Engineer! This role blends software development and operations to automate cloud infrastructure. You'll be responsible for maintaining and developing monitoring and alerting solutions, designing scalable infrastructure, and assisting with debugging production issues. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in SRE or DevOps, a Bachelor's degree in computer science (preferred), and familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker. Requirements

  • Bachelor's in computer science (preferred) or equivalent related experience
  • From 1 to 3 years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles

Responsibilities

  • Be on a Pagerduty on-call rotation to respond to production incidents
  • Maintain and develop monitoring and alerting solutions to improve the on-call experience
  • Design, build and maintain scalable infrastructure for running our systems
  • Assist product developers in debugging and triaging production issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of a Microservice Architecture
  • Basic knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Familiarity with deployment/provisioning tools like Terraform, Helm, Ansible
  • Knowledge in linux platform
  • Comfortable working with Golang, Python and shell script
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies
  • Close familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology, and release processes
