Summary
Join Lastwall, a cybersecurity company, as a DevSecOps Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer. You will contribute to the continuous improvement and operation of their DISA SRG IL4 and FedRAMP-Moderate compliant infrastructure within AWS GovCloud. This role involves implementing infrastructure improvements, advocating for best practices, and ensuring painless testing and deployments. Strong coding skills in Node/Typescript are required, along with experience in automation and observability. On-call support is part of the role, requiring comfort with ensuring system reliability. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent in experience
- Minimum 5 years industry experience
- US Citizenship
- Exposure and experience to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / AWS CDK)
- Exposure and experience to EC2
- Exposure and experience to Container orchestration (ECS / EKS / Kubernetes)
- Exposure and experience to IAM (Least Privilege / Cross-account access management)
- Exposure and experience to TCP Networking
- Exposure and experience to GitLab
- Exposure and experience to CodeCommit / CodePipeline / CodeDeploy
- Exposure and experience to Security Scanning and automation
- Exposure and experience to PostgreSQL(RDS / Aurora)
- Exposure and experience to Observability tooling (Amazon OpenSearch / CloudWatch)
- Exposure and experience to FedRAMP / NIST-800-53
- Exposure and experience to GovCloud deployment and operations
- Exposure and experience to FIPS-140-2
- Exposure and experience to NGINX
- Proficiency in NodeJS / TypeScript
- Exposure and experience to Identity Provider Management (SAML / OIDC)
- Exposure and experience to Bash
Responsibilities
- Work on the continuous improvement and operation of their DISA SRG IL4 and FedRAMP-Moderate compliant infrastructure
- Play an integral role in rolling out their next wave of infrastructure improvements
- Advocate for best practices and optimal design decisions to help build the best infrastructure possible
- Actively engage in security, automation, and observability
- Have a large impact in shaping how they do things
- Improve and maintain their Developer team's infrastructure tooling
- Ensure painless testing and deployments
- Participate in their on-call rotation
- Ensure uptime and system reliability during critical windows
