Summary
Join Veriff's Engineering team as an SRE Coach and champion reliability across the organization. You will collaborate with various teams to streamline processes, improve observability, and define SLIs/SLOs. This role requires strong SRE principles understanding, expertise in observability tools, and solid coding skills. You'll advocate for best practices, lead post-incident reviews, and inspire teams to own service reliability. Requirements
- A strong understanding of SRE principles and a proven track record of implementing them effectively
- Expertise in observability concepts such as logs, traces, and metrics, with experience using tools like Datadog, New Relic, or Elastic Stack
- Solid coding skills in languages like Node.js, Python, or Go
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a knack for aligning diverse teams
- A high level of self-organization, ownership, and accountability
Responsibilities
- Advocate for SRE principles, fostering a culture of reliability, observability, and operational excellence across teams
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and service teams to streamline processes and resolve blockers
- Drive improvements in observability, including logs, traces, and metrics, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution
- Define and implement SLIs and SLOs to measure and maintain system reliability aligned with business objectives
- Promote the use of Error Budgets and lead post-incident reviews to foster a learning culture and continuous improvement
- Assess systems and processes to identify opportunities for scalability and reliability enhancements
- Inspire teams to take ownership of service reliability and driving alignment on shared goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tools like Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and distributed tracing platforms
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
