You will manage compute infrastructure and applications, requiring extensive reading and documentation of findings. Requirements

  • Have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps
  • Have experience with workload orchestration solutions, such as Kubernetes
  • Reason about software design and distributed systems
  • Be proficient in at least one programming language

Responsibilities

  • Work efficiently in distributed teams, with a strong focus on clear and frequent communication
  • Think critically about the problems presented to the team and propose multiple solutions, ideally documented in written form
  • Be proactive, taking initiative while keeping the team’s success in mind
  • Communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Manage compute infrastructure and the applications that depend on it
  • Develop an informed understanding of each app's architecture, best operating practices, and debugging techniques when things go wrong
  • Document what we learn, including what went wrong and how to prevent future issues
