Site Reliability Engineer

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working with either AWS or GCP
• 2+ years of experience with monitoring systems, we use Grafana
• At least a year of experience working with Kubernetes
• At least a year of experience with CI/CD pipelines, we use Github Actions, Helm and Argo CD
• At least a year of programming in any language, we use Go, Bash, and Python
• Currently eligible to work in Japan
• Business-level English

Responsibilities

• Ensure our entire system and infrastructure are both functional and thoroughly available
• Design infrastructure that can scale in tandem with our growing business needs
• Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines
• Promote best practices and engineering excellence
• Work closely with IaC whilst managing multiple environments it possesses
• Be vigilant and attentive toward our security
• Monitor existing system, serving as a first responder to any potential incident

Preferred Qualifications

• Infrastructure as code, especially Terraform
• Experience developing Kubernetes operators
• Basic Japanese language skills
• MongoDB monitoring and querying
