You will be part of the Site Reliability Operations team, designing, implementing, and monitoring tooling and systems supporting our SaaS applications across various environments. Responsibilities include monitoring cloud environments, maintaining monitoring systems, deploying code, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and providing on-call support. The ideal candidate possesses 1-2 years of relevant experience, strong cloud knowledge, programming/scripting skills, and understanding of application monitoring. Requirements
- 1-2 years of DevOps, Site Reliability, Operations, or Software Development experience
- Experience with or well-rounded knowledge of key cloud best practices, tools, techniques, and frameworks
- Experience working with programming/scripting languages, infrastructure as code, deployment, and monitoring tools and methodologies
- A sound understanding of application monitoring and troubleshooting
- Ability to perform code deployments in multiple environments with a variety of tools
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure as code principles
- Experience with AWS โ Amazon Web Services
Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate issues in cloud environments
- Operate and maintain monitoring systems and frameworks in multiple environments
- Deploy code in multiple environments
- Assist with writing/modifying new/existing scripts and infrastructure code
- Enhance and support automated CI/CD pipelines
- Infrastructure capacity planning
- Troubleshoot and communicate during production outages and performance events
- Provide off-hours and emergency support through on-call rotation
- Contribute to disaster recovery exercises
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with New Relic
- Experience with Python
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Experience with FinOps
