Summary

Join Superior Skilled Trades as a Skilled Trades Recruiter in Madison, WI! This role offers the chance to take ownership of a growing territory, starting remotely and eventually establishing a local office. You will recruit and place qualified tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, HVAC techs, etc.) with construction and industrial clients, managing the full recruitment cycle. Strong communication with field employees and clients is essential. You will collaborate with national teams to expand our presence in Madison. This position requires 3+ years of staffing or skilled trades recruiting experience and strong sourcing skills. Superior Skilled Trades offers a competitive salary ($50,000-$60,000 base, $75,000-$100,000+ total comp potential), full benefits including PTO, paid holidays, and wellness programs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of staffing or skilled trades recruiting experience
• Strong sourcing skills and knowledge of local labor markets
• High sense of urgency and ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating remotely with team members
• Based in the Madison, WI area; willing to work remote to start, with future interest in leading an in-person office

Responsibilities

• Recruit and place qualified tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, HVAC techs, etc.) with construction and industrial clients
• Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, onboarding, and compliance
• Maintain strong communication with field employees and clients to ensure quality service
• Help grow our presence in the Madison market with support from our national recruiting and sales teams
• Partner with leadership to build out a local office as demand increases

Benefits

• Base salary: $50,000 – $60,000
• Total comp potential: $75,000 – $100,000+ (base + commission)
