Skytap Engineer

Join Infopro Learning as a skilled Skytap Engineer for a long-term contract position supporting a top client's training department. This remote role, open to candidates in India, involves deploying, maintaining, and optimizing virtual machines (VMs) on the Skytap platform. You will collaborate with trainers and subject matter experts to create and maintain virtual environments for training courses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high performance. The position requires strong technical skills in virtualization, scripting, and cloud platforms. A background in machine learning and AI is preferred. Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Have a minimum of 5 years in virtualization, VM deployment, and technical support
• Be proficient in scripting languages (Python preferred) and API integrations
• Be familiar with infrastructure, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
• Have experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), visualization tools (Grafana, PowerBI), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Possess strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Skytap VMs for various training courses, aligning resources to meet specific course needs
• Partner with trainers and subject matter experts to design virtual labs for new courses and optimize existing ones
• Actively monitor the Skytap environment, implementing strategies to optimize performance and reduce costs
• Serve as the first line of support for learners, troubleshooting VM issues to ensure a seamless training experience
• Develop and update technical documentation and troubleshooting guides for efficient VM management

• Have significant experience with scripting and automation
