Smart Contract Security Engineer in Canada

Summary

The job is for a Senior Smart Contract Security Engineer at Axelar. The role involves ensuring the security of the cross-chain messaging protocol and applications by participating in design, implementation, testing, and auditing smart contracts, establishing security processes, and providing technical guidance to the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Development experience
• Deep expertise in a smart contract VM (EVM/Solidity, Solana/Rust, Cosmos/Cosmwasm, etc)
• Proven experience with security audits and/or creating security processes for smart contracts, blockchains, messaging protocols, etc

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, implementation and testing of smart contracts for Axelar’s cross-chain messaging protocol and applications
• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts to identify and address vulnerabilities
• Establish security processes for deployments, and operations of smart contracts
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on smart contract security practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cryptography is a plus
• Familiarity with Rust is a strong plus
