Senior Smart Contract Engineer in Worldwide

Summary

Ex Populus is a game development studio led by industry veterans from renowned companies like Pixar, Ubisoft, Activision, Blizzard, etc. They are developing two games on the Xai Blockchain and are looking for senior engineers to create next-generation fully on-chain games and ecosystems. Requirements

• Experienced as a senior engineer, tech lead, or staff+ software engineer in relevant Blockchain technologies
• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering
• Advanced understanding of EVM environments and solidity
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, artists, and other developers, to ensure the seamless integration of blockchain technology into gaming projects
• Experience building upgradable contracts via either UUPS, Transparent Proxies, and/or Diamonds
• Demonstrated experience with non-standard, completely bespoke smart contracts

Responsibilities

• Work with AAA game-design veterans to create next-generation fully on-chain games and ecosystems that power fully autonomous worlds in Arbitrum’s first L3 ecosystem, Xai
• Create some of the largest and most ambitious smart contract ecosystems using cutting edge EIPs and internally manifested architectures
• Architect smart contracts in Solidity and Stylus to implement ideas and concepts that have never before been on chain
• Design and implement games, DAPPs, and infrastructure that power the next era of web3 gaming
• Coordinate with highly talented teams in creating experiences that rival Web2 experiences
