Smart Meter Engineer

Summary

Join Octopus Energy and help drive the global renewable energy revolution as a Smart Meter Engineer. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, installing smart meters, demonstrating their functionality, and answering questions about green energy. This role requires excellent customer service skills and experience with domestic dual fuel metering. This is a remote role with travel across Scotland.

Requirements

• Prioritize safety in all tasks
• Possess excellent people skills and a dynamic approach to smart metering
• Have previous experience in domestic dual fuel metering
• Hold Gas Safe – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
• Possess MOCoPA - at least 1ph WC
• Have a full UK driving licence
• Be able to use a handheld terminal
• Maintain a flexible working approach and a desire to create a positive customer experience

Responsibilities

• Fit meters
• Show customers how their meter and in-home display works
• Help customers save energy
• Answer questions about green energy
