Summary

Join Movement Strategy as a Social Media Content Creator and lead the development and publication of engaging content across various social platforms. This full-time, remote position (Los Angeles-based only) requires on-camera presence, video production, and editing skills. You will collaborate with a team of creatives and strategists to build brand identity and community engagement. Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience working with entertainment/brand clients (agency setting preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven experience in digital content publishing, content management, or a similar role
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
• Proficiency in content management systems and basic image editing tools
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality content
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility working weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings

Responsibilities

• Develop, script, film, and edit original video content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
• Deliver personable, engaging on-camera content
• Stay ahead of social trends and translate them into creative content
• Collaborate with team members to plan and organize the content publishing schedule
• Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and style
• Create content that encourages genuine audience interaction
• Monitor feedback and comments to refine content and engagement
• Collaborate with Creative and Strategy teams to brainstorm and execute content concepts
• Ensure content is optimized for each platform (format, style, best practices)
• Stay updated on latest social media trends and platform features
• Suggest fresh ideas to keep the brand ahead of the curve
• Maintain channel best practices when publishing and updating content
• Format content appropriately for online consumption (readability, visual appeal, user experience)
• Enhance content with relevant images, videos, infographics, and other multimedia elements
• Ensure all published content adheres to copyright and intellectual property regulations
• Stay updated with industry trends, digital publishing best practices, and relevant legal requirements
• Collaborate with Creative, Project Management, and Account teams to align content publishing with overall marketing strategies
• Communicate with different teams to gather necessary information and assets for content creation and publication
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure published content is error-free and meets high-quality standards
