Social Media Intern

Summary

The job is for a summer marketing intern at Topline Pro, a YC-backed startup building AI-powered Shopify for service businesses. The intern will create and manage social media content across Instagram and TikTok, interact with followers, and help grow the follower base.

Requirements

• Current student or recent grad
• Creativity and autonomy to come up with and execute new ideas
• Previous experience running social media accounts with a track record of positive engagement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with a passion for learning
• Self-starter who finds comfort in ambiguity
• Goofball who loves having fun
• Available for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2024

Responsibilities

• Film and generate original and engaging content for Instagram and TikTok, including photos, videos and stories - tailored to the home service industries (painters, landscapers etc.)
• Interact with our followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner
• Implement strategies to grow our follower base and increase engagement on both Instagram and TikTok
• Help define our social media presence; this role comes with the opportunity to build out the social media for a fast growing startup!

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus if you have any sort of past experience in the trades/ home service sector
