Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in social media marketing
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Proven track record in managing social media pages for high-growth web3 brands
• Strong understanding of the leading strategies of social media
• Experience as an active contributor to social communities
• Ability to assume multiple personalities and brand voices when executing social strategies
• Highly attentive to detail and able to notice typos, grammatical errors, and other non-obvious errors
• Highly passionate about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies
• Desire to grasp highly technical concepts and translate them into easy-to-understand communications
• Advanced knowledge of major social channels (e.g., X, LinkedIn, Youtube), social analytics

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary owner of social media channels for Mina Protocol and Mina Foundation
• Create brief and engaging content and copy across major social channels
• Forward plan in a content calendar and maintain regular posting cadence
• Track, analyze, and report social media metrics to internal teams on a regular basis
• Actively monitor social channels to identify opportunities for engagement
• Partner with Creative Lead to design attention grabbing graphics that complement social copy and broader strategy
• Develop and implement innovative social tactics to create more brand awareness
• Foster meaningful connections with the Mina community by responding to messages and mentions on X
• Lead the evaluation and selection of software solutions for social media and integrate them into our marketing stack
• Support the marketing, community, product, and engineering teams with other adjacent projects that require communications support

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of digital and traditional advertising strategies
• Paid social campaign experience
