Summary

Join Datacom's Endpoint Engineering team and contribute to the success of our clients by designing, building, supporting, and improving end-user solutions. As a SOE Engineer, you will manage the day-to-day operations of customer endpoint systems, solve technical issues, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will maintain and enhance environment configurations, follow ITIL processes, perform upgrades, and contribute to projects. Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager including Intune
• Strong technical knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory – Group Policy Management
• Strong Scripting ability (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch)
• Experience with Windows 10 task sequencing and end point configuration
• Experience with facilitating large and enterprise scale software deployments
• Exceptional knowledge of Windows Modern Desktop technologies
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in SOE migrations, projects, and implementation
• Minimum 1+ years' experience in MECM
• AU Citizen and able to obtain a Baseline or NV1 clearance

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of environment wide configurations including user policies, device policies, security policies, firmware, drivers, and automation scripts through enterprise grade endpoint management platforms (Intune)
• Ensure outstanding levels of customer satisfaction by demonstrating timely, professional, and attentive responses to customers and colleagues
• Operate in, and contribute to the winning culture of a high performing team
• Identify service improvements, efficiencies and/or cost reductions for Datacom customers
• Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (e.g., change/release)
• Perform upgrades on applicable hardware and operating systems as required/requested
• Provide maintenance and enhancements of deployed desktop operating system images (physical and virtual)
• Assist with projects as required and act as the lead
• Provide continuous high-quality upkeep of supporting documentation such as Designs, As-Builts, How-tos, environment reporting, risk registers, tickets, and roadmap lifecycles
• Occasional travel to Datacom, customer sites and conferences when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with M365 would be advantageous
• IT Industry experience with an IT Managed Service Provider environment
• Good working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, AD, DHP, DNS, certificate services and Enterprise applications
