Software Developer Intern

Summary

Join BambooHR as a Software Developer Intern and contribute to the development of our award-winning app on either the Backend or Frontend teams. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, making impactful changes to our live site. A skilled mentor will guide your development. This paid, full-time internship runs from May 2025 to August 2025. The role involves agile development, integration of projects, and system improvement. Successful candidates will possess experience in object-oriented programming and web development, familiarity with databases and version control, and live within commuting distance of the Draper, UT office.

Requirements

• Experience in an object-oriented programming language (backend)
• Basic education with web development (frontend)
• Familiarity with relational databases (backend)
• Familiarity with version control software, preferably Git
• You live within commuting distance of our Draper, UT office
• Rising senior/preparing to graduate in Spring 2026

Responsibilities

• Practice a scrum-like agile development process using CI/CD systems
• Work with a world-class product development team to integrate your projects into the application
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our systems and processes
• Come to work, do great things, then go home!
