Summary

The job is for a Software Development Engineer at Landing AI, a company specializing in creating cutting-edge vision products. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI applications, with a focus on infrastructure, AI services, web applications, and internal tooling systems. The candidate should have a solid CS foundation, 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency in Python, and experience with web frameworks, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-based development, and end-to-end product development.

Requirements

• Broad and solid CS foundation knowledge, including data structures & algorithms, OS, computer networks, databases, web development
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency with commonly used programming languages like Python
• Experience with web frameworks like fastapi, flask, django
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, systems design)
• Experience in building industrial quality services by using modern database and data streaming solutions, including SQL, NoSQL, etc
• Experience with cloud-based development, using cloud providers like AWS
• Experience with end-to-end product development, comfortable both with early stages of development and with delivering complex solutions to production

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy infrastructure and AI services
• Build and deliver high-quality AI products to clients’ hands
• Build internal tooling systems
• Take responsibility for the full software development cycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with computer vision, LLMs, LMMs
• Experience with developer-facing products
• Experience in network security, and edge device development
• Infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Experience with ML tools/frameworks like Pytorch, Tensorflow, ONNX, and OPENVino
