Summary

Ava Labs is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join their Data Platform team. The role involves building APIs for internal and external projects, collaborating with product teams, and designing new services related to NFTs, DeFi, and blockchain gaming. Required qualifications include a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, 5+ years of general backend development experience, and 3+ years of experience building large-scale enterprise APIs. Preferred qualifications include experience as a decision-maker for high throughput systems, familiarity with data pipelines, and experience with Typescript/Node.js and Golang.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Build distributed, scalable, and highly performant APIs to support internal Ava Labs projects and the external Avalanche community
• Partner with product teams for new feature development for the Avalanche Explorer , Core Wallets ( Core Ext , Web Wallet ), and other blockchain applications
• Closely collaborate with the data engineering team to build and integrate blockchain-specific data pipelines
• Design and build new services centered around NFTs, DeFi, and blockchain gaming

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a decision-maker for high throughput systems required
• Experience with Typescript/Node.js is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with data pipelines is preferred
• Experience with Golang a plus
