Summary

Onebrief is a fast-growing startup in the defense industry that builds software for military operational planning. They are looking for a Senior SDET to help improve the testability of their React application. The SDET will report to Dominic Pace, the CISO and Director of Technology Operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of frontend development experience with React
• Developing and/or improving tooling around unit and integration testing for a React or React-like web application
• Creatively implementing shift left methodologies that demonstratively led to higher code quality
• Mentoring engineers in best practices around code quality

Responsibilities

• Devise and document strategies to make components more testable
• Write component and unit tests
• Document best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines that make use of Github Actions (or similar) declarative pipelines
• Visual regression testing, either homegrown or 3rd party
• E2e tests
• API tests
• Load and/or performance testing
• Docker, Kubernetes
