Software Development Engineer In Test Lead

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in quality engineering and testing strategy implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse teams
• Demonstrated ability to promote a culture of quality and best practices within an organization
• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, including Star Schema design and ETL/ELT processes
• Strong SQL skills (SQL Server & Oracle)
• Expertise in automation framework design and implementation using Python and Pytest
• In-depth knowledge of core testing concepts, including test case management, defect management, and BDD using Gherkin
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and drive adoption of comprehensive testing strategies across multiple teams
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, etc.) to integrate quality into the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Mentor and guide SDETs, fostering continuous improvement and adherence to best practices
• Promote early quality interventions through practices like shifting testing left
• Advocate for appropriate testing methodologies, including BDD, TDD, and performance testing
