Summary

Join GoDaddy's team as a Senior Natural Language Processing (NLP) scientist to analyze product and chat survey data, extract customer sentiment and intent, and build a taxonomy and customer intent program. This remote position will leverage your expertise in machine learning and NLP to improve the customer experience and business results. You will collaborate with various teams, process large datasets, and communicate findings effectively. The role requires experience in management, machine learning/NLP, software development, and working with live data. Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of management experience with a strong background in machine learning/NLP, software development and hands on experience with Deep Neural Network technologies
• Strong algorithm design and programming skills in at least one low level language like C++/Java, scripting languages like Python/R/Scala and experience with distributed computing (Hadoop/Spark)
• A passion for solving interesting and meaningful real-world problems using principled techniques and practices
• 2+ years of experience working with live data (data cleaning, data visualization and modeling)
• Experience with documenting, synthesizing and communicating results

Responsibilities

• Articulate and understand a business problem, identify challenges, formulate the ML/NLP problem and provide/prototype solutions
• Provide technical leadership, identify and understand key business challenges and opportunities, and develop end-to-end software solutions using ML/NLP
• Collaborate extensively with internal partners, program management, and the engineering team to ensure that the solution meets the business needs, permits valid inferences and has functional feasibility
• Collect and process large volumes of data; build new and improved techniques and/or solutions for data collection, management, and usage
• Communicate results in a comprehensible manner to all levels of the company
• Brainstorm and collaborate with other team members

Preferred Qualifications

Educational Background: PhD. or MS in computer science or equivalent experience in quantitative fields
