Software Engineer, Antifraud

Summary

Join Pismo's anti-fraud team and contribute to the development and maintenance of projects using Golang and AWS. You will proactively mentor other engineers, lead your squad to technical success, and utilize Terraform for AWS resource management. Monitor applications, participate in technical analysis with the product team, and leverage your expertise in Golang, cloud platforms, and infrastructure-as-code tools. This is a remote-first role offering various benefits.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer
• 3+ years proficiency in years of experience with Golang
• 2+ years experience in with any cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• 2+ years experience with Infra as a code tools (Terraform, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation, etc)

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of projects in Golang language with deployment on AWS
• Proactively contributes to the betterment of other engineers in the company, through sponsoring, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback
• Consistently leads their squad to good outcomes from a technical perspective, ensuring appropriate engineering decisions are made to factor in technical debt, systems design, stability/reliability, monitoring/observability, and business need
• Execution of Terraform to create/remove new resources on AWS
• Monitoring applications through logs/metrics
• Participation in technical analysis with product team requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in Java is a differential
• Work with critical systems is a differential
