Summary
Join our team as a Software Engineer at Scriptrunner! We are seeking a passionate and talented individual to contribute to the development of ScriptRunner Cloud products. You will design, build, and maintain microservices using AWS, resolve production issues, and contribute to engineering best practices. We offer unlimited PTO, flexible working hours, and exceptional time away policies, including extended leave for various reasons. We provide MacBooks and support for remote workers. This role requires proficiency in backend and frontend languages, excellent communication skills, and experience with CI/CD and Agile methodologies. Bonus points for experience with Infrastructure as Code and the Atlassian ecosystem.
Requirements
- Proficient in at least one backend language (Java, Python, PHP, etc.) and one front-end JavaScript/TypeScript framework (React, Angular, Vue)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Collaborate effortlessly across time zones and teams
- Capable of working independently and seeking help proactively. You're a team player at heart
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery to streamline software deployment
- Thrive in Agile environments, adapting quickly and efficiently
- Experience with AWS and building cloud-based services
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain microservices using AWS for our Atlassian Cloud apps
- Work hand-in-hand with product teams to tackle and resolve production issues, ensuring we meet our service level guarantees
- Contribute to our engineering best practices, ensuring our services are reliable and scalable
- From design to deployment, own the delivery of new functionalities with a focus on quality and performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Knowledge of the Atlassian Ecosystem
- Building high-scale distributed systems
