Software Engineer

Summary

Join Advansys, a dynamic technology solutions provider, as a Software Engineer. You will develop high-quality software designs, manage rules for objects, and collaborate with teams to improve products. Responsibilities include designing and modifying mechanical and control drawings, developing tools and applications, debugging code, and documenting development phases. You will also participate in training new hires and work with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3-4 years of experience, and proficiency in OOP with C++, C#, Java, or similar languages. Knowledge of databases, code debugging, and 3D geometry is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, Computer Science, information technology or similar
• 3-4 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer or ITI graduate (Software or Informatics track)
• Experienced in OOP with C++, C#, Java or similar programming languages
• Knowledge of Database
• Code Debugging skills
• Proven Mathematical Knowledge (3D Geometry, 2D and 3D coordinate systems)
• Excellent Analytical and Problem-solving skills
• Must be a self-starter and can work independently on diverse problems
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software design
• Design and modify graphically Mechanical and Control drawings using code
• Manage rules and limitations for the existing and new objects
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Review and debug code according to the software standards
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to fix and improve products
• Participate in training and support for new hires
• Document development phases
• Design, development and testing of CET software

Preferred Qualifications

• Keen to learn emacs and customized programming language which is specific for CET software
• Keen to learn and work with Mechanical/Controls 2D & 3D Modeling software and terminologies
• Knowledge of Jira would be a plus
• Knowledge of Git or any version control would be a plus
• Ability to work with the team remotely
